Culver Bash 2010

Save the date! We will be having another Culver Bash on the weekend of October 22, 2010 in Chicago.

What is a Bash you ask? In October of 2005, a multi-class, off campus reunion was held in Chicago at Harry Carry’s restaurant with accommodations at the House of Blues Hotel. The classes of ’71, ’72, ’73, ’74 & ’75 were invited. It is your opportunity to catch up with friends outside of our class, and off campus. People came from as far away as Switzerland! On Friday night, we took over the hotel bar where we reconnected with friends, and made plans for Saturday. During the day on Saturday, we explored Chicago with old and new friends.

On Friday, October 22, 2010, we will be staying at the Tremont Hotel, a 3 star hotel about a block away from the Hancock Building, Water Tower, and Michigan Avenue (and Mannie’s Deli!). Saturday, October 23, we contracted with Mike Ditka’s, and have most of the second floor. Mike Ditka’s is located next door to the Tremont, and you can even take an elevator straight into the second floor of Ditka’s.

So, mark your calendars and start contacting classmates and those from other classes you want to see there. Early next year, registration cards will be going out. We hope to see everyone next October!
